Project Completed

By early June the final group of residents moved into the last cottage to be renovated and the McNally renovation was deemed a success.  Although we missed our original schedule by a couple of months, we came in under budget, and the end product of four brand new cottages exceeded expectations. 

Osborne Cottage Update

Demolition is completed on the final cottage. The rough underground plumbing inspection passed today. Next step is backfill and masons prep for slab and pour floor. Donnelly Construction is on or ahead of their schedule for this cottage.

Moving Day and Final Cottage Demo

On Thursday, March 29 residents moved into the newly renovated Schley cottage. On Friday, March 30 Donnelly Construction commenced demolition of the fourth and final cottage to be renovated. Three down; one to go.

Final Week for New Schley

We are still on schedule for a Thursday, March 29 cottage turn-over. The carpets are being installed today and tomorrow. The flooring in the rest of the cottage should be completed today. Solid surfaces are being installed today. Final painting and touch-up on Saturday. The final plumbing and electric inspections are scheduled for Monday. Final building for the TCO is scheduled for Tuesday. The cleaning crew will be working on Wednesday. The boys move in on Thursday. Friday demolition for the final cottage, Osborne, commences.

Cupola complete

The renovations to the cupola have been completed. The new cupola provides a semi conditioned space in the attic. Constructed using insulated low e glass and insulated panels with louvers that allow in fresh air this new design replaces the open cupola that attracted unwanted wildlife and also was completely exposed to weather.

New Sidewalks

Last night's rain tested our new sidewalks and we're happy to report positive results. No puddles! Plus, framing inspection passed today.

Update from our Construction Manager

We have passed our plumbing & electrical inspections. We are looking for Framing tomorrow afternoon or Friday.

Tomorrow we set the shower pans, tie into the manifold and apply nail plates. and set ADA shower blocking.

Drywall begins following framing inspection.
